Description
Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool is a 100% high concentrated water-based polyurethane elastomer. Apply in high strength application. When dry forms a rubberlike properties, features high flexibility, reduce shrinkage, weather resistance, solar reflectance, easy to use, quick drying, does not need fibre reinforcement, seamless, seals joint, prevent water penetrating surface by 100%.

Area of Application
Surface Preparation
- Ensure surface is clean from dirt & loose material
- Treat any hole or defects with suitable material and allow to completely dry
- Application in high temperature surface, reduce surface temperature with water & wait to dry prior to application
- Adjust the roof slope so that there is no ponding on surface
- Sealed all joints with suitable sealant
Priming
- For priming apply a primer or Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool, especially in porous surface
- Dilute Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool of a ratio of 1:1 (Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool per : clean water) for primer application of coverage for 8 to 10m2, leave to dry 1-2 hours prior to next application
Mixing
- Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool is premixed & ready to use, stir thoroughly till a homogeneous paste is form to suspend all pigment prior to application
Application
Waterproof & Solar Reflectance
- In foundation application
- Apply 1st coat of Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool Ratio 0.5 Litre/mm2 or 0.70 Kgs/mm2 (Dry Films Thickness about 1 mm)
- Allow 1st coat to dry 1 to 2 hours prior to applying 2nd coat perpendicularly
- If 3rd coat is necessary, apply it perpendicularly to 2nd coat after 2nd coat dried for 1 to 2 hours
Solar Reflectance
- In foundation application
- Apply 1st coat of Dr.Fixit Newcoat PU Cool Ratio 0.2 Litre/mm2 or 0.25 Kgs/mm2
- (Dry Films Thickness about 300-350 micron)
- Allow 1st coat to dry 1 to 2 hours prior to applying 2nd coat perpendicularly
Precautions & Limitations
- Working temperature 10 °C to 35 °C
- Do not apply on surface with negative water pressure, wet surfaces of water retaining structures such as swimming pool & pond
- Do not work in direct sun or on hot surfaces to prevent cavities formation
