Anionic Tack Coat is rapid setting anionic asphalt emulsion. It is applied to bind asphalt / bituminous materials to existing pavement surfaces.

Anionic Tack Coat can significantly improve the bond between the pavement layers. Increasing the strength of the pavement structure and prevent slip failure. Tack coat can also reduce the tendency for the surface course layer to slide on the underlying layer under the force of accelerating or decelerating traffic.

    Concrete surface and old asphalt surface prior to placing the new hot mix asphalt (HMA).
